Famous American singer Neil Diamond was born in 1941 in New-York
Neil has been acquainted with music since his very childhood, when he started singing in the school choir, and for his sixteenth birthday he got the
present that predetermined his future - a guitar
During his career Neil released numerous hits and plenty of strong albums, but everything started from the composition Hear Them Bells, which he
dedicated to his girlfriend

At the very beginning of his professional career Diamond worked as a composer, creating music for various performers
His song Sunday And Me played by Jay And The Americans managed to get to Top Twenty of Billboard chart in 1965 Neil's song I'm A Believer
(performed by The Monkees) turned out to be even more successful - it peaked at the very top of the chart and spent there almost two months
A bit later he wrote Sweet Caroline that was really enjoyed both by Elvis Presley, Bobby Womack and Frank Sinatra, who included it into their
repertory and by numerous listeners as well Neil became the respected singer-songwriter and managed to gain a huge fan base due to the sincerity
and openness in his creativity
He also took part in the creation of the movie The Jazz Singer in 1980; however it did not prove to be a leader of film distribution, but its soundtrack
turned out to be extremely popular

In 1994 the interpretation of Diamond's song Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon was included into the legendary Tarantino's movie Pulp Fiction; before
that the British band UB40 pleased the listeners with the cover-version of Neil's song Red Red Wine, which peaked at top positions in many charts
Thereby it was a perfect proof of rock lovers' interest to Diamond's creativity
His compositions sound really harmonically not only in the original, but also in different stylistic variations
In the new Millennium the musician proceeded to release wonderful albums that got their well-deserved places in the collections of music connoisseurs
