The Spice Girls
* Muziekstijl: pop
Britse meidengroep geformeerd in 1994 (als marketing project), met Girl Power als dé modekreet van 1997.
Melanie Chisholm, Melanie Brown, Victoria Adams, Geri Halliwell en Emma Bunton.
Halliwell stapte in 1998 uit de groep.
Chisholm had solohits als Melanie C, Brown als Melanie B en Adams als Victorie Beckham.
*  Victoria Beckham sind haar huwelijk met voetballer David Beckham in 1999.
Er was geen andere vrouwelijke tienerpopgroep die in de jaren negentig zoveel succes had als The Spice Girls.
Alle gekte leidde in 1997 tot een eigen speelfilm, met de naam Spice World.
De groep ging in 2000 uit elkaar.
